Celtics vs Cavs

Celtics vs CavsGame 2, Tuesday May 15, 8:30 PM EST at TD Garden Boston, MA
Celtics lead the series 1-0

At Bovada this Game 2 is a PICK with the total sitting at 203.

The Cavs were red hot coming into Game 1 of the NBA Conference Final series, winning five playoff games in a row, but the Celtics cooled them offbig time, winning 108-83.

Boston got off to a great start in Game 1, out-scoring the Cavaliers by 18 points in the first quarter and they were up 26 points at the half. For the game the Celtics shot a legit 51.2% from the floor and they held Cleveland to 36% shooting and only 15.4% shooting from behind the 3-pt line.

Marcus Morris got his first start of the post-season in Game 1 and the reason was to try to guard LeBron James. He did his job well holding King James to only 15 points on 5/16 shooting and he also missed all five of his 3-pointers and had seven turnovers. Kevin Love was the only other Cavs starter to go for double figures with 17 points on 5/14 shooting.

Morris not only had a great game on D in the Game 1 win, but he also went for 21 points and 10 rebounds. Jaylen Brown and Al Horford combined for 43 points and four of five Boston starters went for at least 16 points and shot over 50% from the floor.

Cleveland must shoot the 3 better in this game, as in Game 1 the starters were a combined 3/19 from deep.

Can Morris play great D on LeBron again? That is a big question in this game. The King has to pace the Cavs and get help, which did not happen in the Game 1 loss.

Cleveland has to get off to a better start in this game as well, as in Game 1 they allowed the Celtics to score 17 straight points in the first quarter and after that the Cavs never got within 10 points.

While Cleveland fans have to be a little concerned after the bad Game 1 loss their leader in James is not stating, “I have zero level of concern at this stage.” James had his worst game of the playoffs in Game 1 and in the three games after a loss in their previous game the King has averaged 39.7 ppg. The Cavs have not lost two straight in these playoffs.

The Celtics are a perfect 7-0 at home in this post-season.

Cleveland vs. Boston Game 2 prediction

The Celtics easily handled the Cavs in Game 1, but this game will be much different. James will have a typical bounce-back big game and get help and Cleveland will take this game and even the series at 1-1. Bet on Lebron and the Cavs at Bovada.lv./strong>
