EPL Matchweek 38 parlay betting – Premier League multi tips

2018/19 English Premier League

2018/19 English Premier League

The curtains will close this weekend on the highest echelon of English football with Matchweek 38 of the EPL.

All eyes will be on Manchester City and Liverpool in their respective games, as first and second in the race for the Premier League crown are separated by a paltry point.

The title race hasn’t been this nerve-racking since the 2011/12 campaign when City and Manchester United went nip and tuck down to the very dying moments of the final day.

Sergio Aguero was the hero that day and the Argentine will be hoping to relive that spine-tingling feeling when Manchester City face Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.

Crystal Palace against Bournemouth should also be a cracker, as both teams are fighting for a 12th-place finish, whereas Leicester City will play host to Chelsea.

Liverpool will have their work cut out against Wolverhampton Wanderers, while our final feature game of the weekend will see Tottenham Hotspur play Everton in London.

All 10 matches are penciled to kick off on Sunday, May 12 at 3pm GMT.

Leg 1 – Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester City

3pm Sunday, May 12 – Amex Stadium, Brighton

Manchester City will be hoping to secure their second successive Premier League title under Pep Guardiola when they face Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

The Citizens enter the final weekend a point ahead of Liverpool, who have matched their stride over the course of the season.

A win on Sunday would take City one step closer to the domestic treble of the League Cup, the Premier League and the FA Cup.

Given Guardiola’s larger-than-life winning mentality that borders on insanity, the Citizens might well have the trophy wrapped up by half-time.

Prediction: Most goals in the first half – +196 at Bovada

Leg 2 – Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth

3pm Sunday, May 12 – Selhurst Park, London

Crystal Palace and Bournemouth find themselves embroiled in a catfight for 12th place on the closing day of the season.

The Eagles, who currently occupy the position, will be confident heading into the spicy encounter having churned out seven points from a possible nine in their last three games.

If the last outing is anything to go by, however, then it is the Cherries who should come out on top after they ground out a 1-0 win over Spurs last weekend.

This is one of the matches that will leave you on the edge of your seat come Sunday.

Prediction: Both teams to score – -200 at Bovada

Leg 3 – Leicester City vs Chelsea

3pm Sunday, May 12 – King Power Stadium, Leicester

Despite having their fair share of controversy, Chelsea have had quite a decent season.

The Blues made it to the League Cup final, where they lost to Manchester City on penalties; secured their return to the Champions League by finishing in the top four with a game to spare; and still have the chance to win the Europa League after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.

Leicester sit ninth, but their place in the top half of the table isn’t secured yet given that Watford and West Ham United could still finish ahead of them.

The fact Frankfurt took Chelsea all the way to penalties might work in the Foxes’ favour.

Prediction: Leicester to win – +166 at Bovada

Leg 4 – Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

3pm Sunday, May 12 – Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool’s quest for a first-ever Premier League title will go all the way to the final game of the season where they’ll host Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Reds are on a different level of confidence after a swashbuckling comeback against Barcelona saw them become Champions league finalists for the second year running.

While the Reds will be hoping for a most unlikely slump by City, they must first overcome a Wolves side that beat them earlier this year – albeit in the FA Cup.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges have been brilliant all season long and deserve a trophy, or better yet two, but the fate of the Premier League crown is no longer on their hands.

Prediction: Liverpool to win – -303.03 at Bovada

Leg 5 – Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton

3pm Sunday, May 12 – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

Going by the number of memorable matches witnessed in the knockout stages of the Champions League this season, it’s almost as though the top teams in Europe were looking to outshine one another in regards to comebacks.

Tottenham weren’t left behind in the act, as a 3-3 aggregate win from three goals down sent them into the Champions League final for the very first time – thanks to the away goal rule.

Mauricio Pochettino’s boys played like workhorses against Ajax; which is exactly why they won’t be operating at an optimum level having already secured Champions League football by finishing in the top four with a game to spare.

Prediction: Both teams to score – -172.41 at Bovada
