Free NBA betting tips for parlay of the week, Friday, March 4

NBA
BETTING the NBA is always a day-to-day affair, as punters of the Oklahoma City Thunder have found out over this last week, but we’re moving forward with our parlay of the week this Friday.

In an odd occurrence, all teams playing away from home this Friday are underdogs. That rarely happens in basketball and we think we can make some good coin betting on some underdogs. Statistics show betting on underdogs is a good NBA betting strategy and we agree.

We have a four-leg parlay featuring teams that need to find something special in the latter half of the season. Take a parlay at WilliamHill.com and get the best NBA odds available in the U.S.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers at Charlotte

Hornets -138
Pacers +114

The Hornets come into this game with a near-identical record as the Pacers, but in this game only, we think the home court advantage will play its part.

Charlotte (32-28) have been solid without being amazing this season, but they are due for a good second half of the season and they could open up against the Pacers which enjoy a slow-tempo game.

We think the price of +118 for the home side was too good to pass up and the Hornets should get the win in front of a big crowd with Kemba Walker top-scoring for the Hornets.

Tip: Hornets -138

Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks at Boston

Celtics -9.5 (-109)
Knicks +9.5 (-109)

The Boston Celtics are going better than many expected this season with 37-25 record under coach Brad Stevens. New York, after a positive start, have gone backwards since and questions are starting to be asked of their senior players.

They are in a dangerous situation of potentially losing their fan base, but we think they can show a New York resurgence. Carmelo Anthony needs to lead his team and show he still cares about making the playoffs. The Knicks are still in a position to make the playoffs and they are getting a decent points spread for this.

+9.5 is a good line at this time of the season and we think they offer some underdog value away from home.

Tip: Knicks +9.5 at -109

Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers at Toronto

Raptors -5.0 (-109)
Blazers +5.0 (-109)

Toronto have amassed a nice record this season of 40 wins and 19 losses, but they face an inconsistent Portland side which can win any game on their day.

Led by Damian Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers have won 33 and lost 29, but they have some good recent wins to their name and they don’t necessarily deserve to be +173 in the head-to-head market.

We can see the Raptors losing a few games as they near the finals and they could start by losing out to the Blazers this Friday.

Tip: Blazers +5.0 at -109

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves at Milwaukee

Bucks -200
Timberwolves +168

There are only six wins separating these two sides and they both have horrible records. The Bucks are 25-36 with the Timberwolves at 19-42. That means both teams are on the slide and bettors are getting a much better price with the Wolves.

This is a simple case of two bad teams playing each other, but at least the Wolves have Karl Anthony-Towns in their squad. He can make a difference and the +168 is a great price to take.

Tip: Timberwolves +168

Parlay 4 legs = +1581 at WilliamHill.com
