San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) O/U 53

This Thursday game has to be the game of the week, as the Chiefs have a one-game lead of the Chargers in the AFC West. The Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in their last game to clinch a playoff berth, but can clinch the division crown with a win in this home game. The Chargers have won three in a row and they lost to the Chiefs in the season opener 38-28. Patrick Mahomes not only leads the league in passing yards and TD, but came up with two HUGE 4th down conversional late in the last game. KC still has not run the ball well since releasing Kareem Hunt, but the Chargers have issues with the running game as well with top back Melvin Gordon a question mark with an injury.

At home take Kansas City to win and cover.

Houston Texans (-6) vs. New York Jets O/U 41.5

The Texans had their nine-game win streak snapped with a loss in their last game, but can wrap up the AFC South with a win in this game, The Jets are coming off a rare win and can just play spoiler in this game. Houston will get back in the W column in this game winning and covering on the road.

Cleveland Browns vs. Denver Broncos (-3) O/U 45.5

The Browns are coming off a solid win over the Carolina Panthers and they have won three of their last four games. The Broncos took a loss in their last game, which was a costly one knocking them under .500. Baker Mayfield will have another good game and the Browns will, at least, cover the spread.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Baltimore Ravens (-7.5) O/U 46.5

The Bucs had won two in a row before blowing a lead against the New Orleans Saints. They take on a Ravens’ team that lost in OT in their last game snapping their three-game winning streak. Oakland Raiders vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-3) O/U 46

This game pits two of the most disappointing teams in the league and while the Bengals have lost five in a row the Raiders are coming off a win. Oakland has retooled, but they have Derek Carr while Cincy is down to their 2nd straight QB. Take the Raiders in this one to, at least, cover the spread.

Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills (-2.5) O/U 38.5

The Bills and lions are out of the playoff race and the Bills look like they had a win in their last game before giving up 14 points in the 4th quarter in a loss to the New York Jets. Still, they have the best defense in the league and in December in northern New York you have to go with the Bills to win and cover.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Indianapolis Colts (-3) O/U 47

The Cowboys have won five in a row and they hit the road to face the Colts, who are coming off a win where they snapped the Houston Texans 9-game win streak. Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings (7) O/U 44.5

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons (-9) O/U 44

The Falcons may be the league’s biggest disappointment and they are coming off a bad loss. The Cardinals have been bad all season and they only score three points in their last game. Take the Falcons in this NFC matchup.

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears (-6) O/U 45

The Packers are 0-6 at home and the Bears are 6-1 at home. Chicago is coming off an impressive 15-6 win over the L.A. Rams in their last game and the Packers snapped their three-game losing streak. Even in the Windy City take Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to, at least, cover the spread.

Washington Redskins vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (-7) O/U 36

The Redskins are reeling and they were throttled at home in their last game. Still, they are in the playoff hunt and need a win over the Jags, who lost 30-9 in their last game. Washington will likely start Josh Johnson, who was recently signed, but facing a Jags team that cannot score they rock they will cover in the Sunshine State.

Seattle Seahawks (-5) vs. San Francisco 49ers O/U 44

The Seahawks and 49ers are each coming off wins, but when these NFC West rivals met a couple of weeks back in Seattle the Seahawks crushed San Fran. Seattle will run the ball well at home and play good defense and they are the pick in this division game.

New England Patriots (-1.5) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers O/U 52

Both the Pats and Steelers are coming off surprising losses. The Patriots are still in firm command of the AFC East while Pittsburgh has Baltimore right behind them in the AFC North. New England is 4-1 ATS in their last five games facing the Steelers and they beat them in Pittsburgh last season. Take the Pats in this one.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. L.A. Rams (-9) O/U 53.5

The Eagles lost in OT in their last game to the Dallas Cowboys even though they were outgained 576 yards to 256 yards. They had three turnovers in the game and face the Rams and Jared Goff and Todd Gurley, who each had their worst game of the season in their last game losing to the Chicago Bears 15-6. L.A. is back at home where they have not lost and they will bounce back big time lighting up the scoreboard and winning and covering the spread against the Eagles.

New Orleans Saints (-6) vs. Carolina Panthers O/U 52

The Saints would be the #1 seed in the NFC if the season ended today while the Panthers would be out of the playoffs. Carolina is in a tailspin, losers of five games in a row. In the first matchup between these NFC South rivals this season, they play in the season finale, New Orleans will win and cover in this game and tighten their grip on the top-spot in the NFC.
