NBA parlay

NBA parlay

The young 2018/19 NBA season has already provided a number of fascinating subplots that have fans and punters alike scratching their heads.

What has happened to the Houston Rockets?

Last season Houston had the best record in the NBA (65-17) and was widely tipped to contend again this season. But things have got off to a disastrous start for James Harden and co, who have all struggled en route to a 1-4 start after five games.

Mike D’Antoni’s men will still back themselves to turn things around, but they’ll need to start showing signs of life soon.

What is the record for games played before an NBA team before they sacked their coach? That’s what Cleveland fans must be asking after Tyron Lue was giving his marching orders following the Cavs’ 0-6 start to the year.

Life without Lebron James has turned ugly in Cleveland.

Can the Cavaliers bounce back on Tuesday and register win number one for the season?

With a number of quality games on the schedule for the day, we’ve taken a look at our best bets and put them together for our NBA parlay of the day.

NBA Tuesday parlay tips and analysis

Tuesday will be the day of redemption in the NBA.

Cleveland, with its new coach Larry Drew taking the coaching reins, will help notch his team’s first win over the season over the young and inconsistent Atlanta Hawks. The absence of the Cavs’ lone star, Kevin Love, with a toe injury will make this a close one, but we’re backing in a team effort from the home team here.

Orlando is offering a very healthy $1.49 to get the job done against Sacramento. Neither of these teams are particularly playoff contenders, but Orlando has proven tough to beat on its home court and will get the business done against a young Kings side.

Can Houston begin its revival against a serious Western Conference contender? We’re tipping they can.

Even without reigning league MVP James Harden (hamstring injury), we expect Chris Paul to run the show and for Carmelo Anthony to step in with scoring input in what has become a must-win game for Houston. Portland coming off a back-to-back schedule will help here.

To finish things off, we’re tipping an upset in Memphis.

Washington, which started this season off with playoff aspirations, has been very poor in its first fortnight of action with a 1-5 start. Memphis, which was widely tipped to be a bottom three team, has surprised a few with a 3-2 start.

We expect a desperate Washington team to pounce against the odds and get the win here.
