Caesars Entertainment to launch sports betting app in Nevada

Caesars Entertainment, one of the biggest gambling operators in Nevada, is expected to launch a sports betting app this week.

While sports betting apps are offered by all major gaming brands in the US state where sports betting is legal, Caesars is one of the last to launch a downloadable mobile option.

Caesars Entertainment has partnered with technology solutions company, Miomni, to release a sports betting application, as confirmed by Legal Sports Report.

Miomni has partnered with Atlantis Casino and other big US gambling brands since it first received permission from the Nevada Gaming Commission to provide technology for the sports, casino and racing industries in 2014.

Last year, Miomni launched a betting app in Nevada with Boyd Gaming, featuring parimutuel horse betting.

The app is expected to be released within the week, with Caesars Entertainment Director of Specialty Games, Frank Kunovic, announcing that it will be rolled out completely by the end of the year.

Few details are known about the app, but what is clear is that bettors have to be at least 21 years old and accounts have to be created in person.

The account owner also has to be in Nevada to place a bet with “Mi Location” determining your geolocation. It is not necessary to be a resident, but all funds must be withdrawn before leaving the state.

The betting app will be available to download on iPhone or Android smart devices.
