Leg 1 – Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans

Indianapolis made the playoffs winning their last game and they won nine of their last 10 games of the season. In their last game facing the Texans, which was at Houston, the Colts won 24-21. The big matchup in this game has to be Andrew Luck and the 5th ranked Indianapolis offense facing Houston and their 12th ranked defense.

Luck passed for 399 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the last game facing the Texans later in the season. Lead running back Marlon Mack only had 33 rushing yards in the game, but in the season finale win over the Tennessee Titans he rushed for 119 yards.

After their nine-game winning streak the Texans were 2-2 to end the season. They lost to the Colts and lost both games facing teams with winning records in their last four games. Deshaun Watson leads them under center and has a good wide receiver corps and a solid ground, but the 28th ranked pass defense of Houston is the main concern facing Luck.

Just like in the last game between these teams in Houston it will be a close game, but the Colts will win behind a big game from Luck.

Tip: Colts to cover (+6.5)

Leg 2 – Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are the slight home favorite in this NFC Wild Card game, but many experts are going with the Seahawks. Too bad I am not one of them, as I have no love for Dallas. They were 7-1 at home this season and have Ezekiel Elliot in the backfield, who won the rushing title this season and did not even play in the last game.

The Seahawks won six of their last seven games of the season, but in that span only faced one team that made the playoffs. On top of that they were only 4-4 on the road this season. Russell Wilson is dangerous, but this game does not match up well for them. They are a run first team and Dallas ranks 5th in the league in run defense.

Elliot will have a solid game and while this game will be pretty close Dallas will win and cover in their house.

Tip: Cowboys to cover at -1.0

Leg 3 – LA Chargers vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Chargers nearly won the AFC West and got a first round bye and what kept them from doing so was a home loss to the Ravens in the second to last game of the season. Phillip Rivers leads a solid and well-balanced offense, but he struggled in the loss to the Ravens and L.A. had nine turnovers in the last three games including six interceptions from Rivers.

The Ravens have the league’s top-ranked defense and rookie Lamar Miller played great at quarterback after taking over for Joe Flacco. Baltimore ended the season en fuego winning six of their last seven games including their last three.

L.A. was held to less than 200 total yards in their loss to Baltimore late in the season. The Ravens’ defense will have a great game at home in this one and they will win and cover the spread.

Tip: Ravens to cover at -2.5

Leg 4 – Philadelphia Eagles vs. Chicago Bears

Here we go again with the Eagles heading into the playoffs with backup Nick Foles under center. He guided Philly to the Super Bowl win last season and won Super Bowl MVP, but this time around they don’t have a bye and have to hit the road as a Wild Card team.

The Bears ended the season winning their last four games and their third ranked defense only gave up an average of 10.5 points per game in that span. Mitchell Trubisky and Jordan Howard had solid games to end the season and they have to play well in this game, which they both did not do in last season’s 30-3 road loss to the Eagles last season.

The big star in this game will be the Bears defense. In Chicago’s last four games the total went Under every time and look for that trend to continue in this Wild Card matchup.

Tip: Under 41 points
