India’s tour of the West Indies moves from the T20 format to ODI cricket on August 8, when they will meet at Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana.
After both sides were unsuccessful in the recent Cricket World Cup, the time has come for redemption.
The three-match T20 series was dominated by India, who won the first two games in Florida by big margins.
The Windies were better in the third T20, posting 146 in their only triple-figure score for the series, but they still went down by seven wickets.

The 20-over games were notable for individual efforts – some good, some bad.
Rishabh Pant only made four runs across his first two innings, but MS Dhoni’s successor redeemed himself with an unbeaten 65 in the series closer.
Although there weren’t any big standouts for the Windies, they managed to take wickets through a variety of bowlers.
The one-day format is often very different from T20 these days, so it will be interesting to see which side adapts best.
West Indies vs India top batsman betting
Nicholas Pooran – +400 at Bovada
Pooran showed good signs at the end of the Windies’ ICC World Cup journey, making plenty of runs while protecting his wicket. He has not played too well in the T20 games, but he should come good in the longer white-ball format.
Virat Kohli – +220 at Bovada
The captain of India leads by example in all formats of the game, but he did not light the world on fire during the T20 series. With Steve Smith starring in the Ashes, Kohli needs to make some runs to prove he is still the best in the game.
West Indies vs India top wicket-taker odds
Sheldon Cottrell – +300 at Bovada
Cottrell takes wickets in almost every match he plays and has emerged as a top-class bowler in international cricket. With his pace and variations, he should be able to topple multiple Indian batsmen over the course of his 10 overs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar – +350 at Bovada
Bhuvneshwar’s ability to swing the ball both ways is always a worry to opposition batsmen, but especially to Windies sloggers who want to smash the ball every swing. If the pitch is hard and provides some movement, Kumar will be a dangerous weapon for India.
West Indies vs India ODI betting predictions
With the combination of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, India looks far too powerful with the bat. The West Indies may put up a good total, but the Indians will either chase it down or post a better one to start with.
